Topic: DAGs in Exchange 2010 Best Practices and Considerations for Exchange 2013
DAGs (Database Availability Groups) are one of my favorite features of Exchange Server 2010, and the change Microsoft made regarding them in 2013, made them EVEN better. Public Folders are now DAGable. Pigs are flying. During this meeting, Shashwat will be discussing Best Practices for DAGs in Exchange Server 2010 and considerations for DAGs in Exchange Server 2013. If you are consider deploying DAGs or have already deployed them, I guarantee you will learn something at this meeting. You would be amazed at the number of problems I see with DAGs in deployments. Don’t be one of those environments. Master DAGs.
Speaker Bio: Speaker: Shashwat Mohapatra – Premier Field Engineer, Microsoft
Shashwat Mohapatra is a Premier Field Engineer based out of New York. He is an MCITP who has been working with Exchange Server since 2003. Shashwat has worked with Premier customers around the world assisting them with reactive issues as well as delivering an array of proactive services, ranging from health checks to workshops. Besides Exchange, Shashwat also has extensive experience on ISA Server and Microsoft Threat Management Gateway. He also has worked in the UC space, supporting Unified Messaging on Exchange 2007/2010.
